7 criteria for testing a project

The Atelier aims to teach a critical approach that can help work on cultural heritage sites.
ICOMOS has identified 7 criteria through which the EU commission can evaluate ex-ante the positive impact of a project that aims at renewing a cultural site. The Atelier adopts these 7 criteria – knowledge-based, public benefit, compatibility, proportionality, discernment, sustainability, and Good Governance – as a filter through which each project must be argued. Students have developed a double work: first, identify the intervention strategy; second, through the critique of their project, verify its effectiveness concerning the 7 criteria.
This exercise aims to teach a method of work that can be applied in our contemporaneity.
The attached slides don't show the project developed during the Atelier; they show the final comment the students have discussed to argue their project.
