Reinventing Torre Spaccata
The design studio concerns the development of an urban and architectural regeneration project in the social housing district INA-Casa of Torre Spaccata in Rome.
Within the “Reinventing Cities” international competition framework the Atelier developed and implemented innovative ideas to transform neglected sites into remarkable sustainable examples.
The Atelier focused its attention on the rehabilitation of the former market building (designed by Passarelli Studio in 1960) in which service and social functions are expected along with human comfort according to innovative environmental building principles.
