GYM 2025. Traces and Pathways: designing sustainable systems between river, city and community in Michelotti Park, the former Turin zoo on the banks of river Po.
How can the relationship between systemic design and visual art enhance a territory and drive projects aimed at the regeneration of a river park?
This is the challenge around which the DAD Summer School 2025 of the Politecnico di Torino is structured.
Following the training experience of G.Y.M., acronym of Growing Youthful Material, and addressed both to designers, architects and engineers enrolled at PoliTO, and to visual artists training at the best Academies, GYM 2025 Summer School is a new teaching project in the Italian scenario, as it is able to make two worlds that represent the identity of the design approach: the 'polytechnic' and the 'humanistic' fields, synergic and aware.
