Elaborazione di un progetto urbano complesso a Skopje, Macedonia del Nord
The urban project was developed for the city of Skopje, in North Macedonia, characterized by fragmentation in which various coexisting fabrics were identified, revealing a mix of cultures, tensions, and conflicts between different ways of living. The strategy is based on preserving complexity through the recognition of “dark spaces” at the urban level, where individuals can isolate themselves, connect, or reclaim nature. Different ways of living also coexist through architecture, using open spaces, pathways, stairs, and balconies to create various degrees of privacy in living environments.
