Walking across theories
The Workshop was conceived through the metaphor of the journey, where what matters is not the destination, but the intermediate stages, the completed (training) path, along which three essential moments can be traced:
- 1. "Inhabiting the in-between," that is, inventing innocence through drawings, collage, other – Countersign – to get rid of prejudices and established practices of representation;
- 2. "exposing oneself to discovery," which means learning how to orient, know, connect, and order the different acquisitions through exercises aimed at exploring some of the themes of recent design research (from fragmentation to morphogenesis);
- 3. "knowing how to return," that is, how to synthesize, crystallize, and condense the cartographic traces of the personal journey, both through the critical-diagrammatic restitution of an " author's house" and through one's own lived experience of an architectural space, to rediscover with a new awareness the place from which one started.
