Govone's Heritage

The Atelier through the integration of three disciplines (restoration, environmental technical physics, materials science and technology) has developed a project path aimed at interpreting and managing with a holistic approach the problems of preservation, conservation, adaptation, reuse and enhancement of heritage at the architectural scale, according to principles of compatibility and sustainability. The project has taken as a case study the assets of Govone (CN), from the castle to the system of churches and religious buildings, in the objective of restoration and insertion of integrated functions, recognizing the complexity of values and binding constraints, in effective dialogue with territorial actors.
