Genzano di Lucania at the center. Projects for a regeneration of the territory.

Atelier activities are part of a collaboration with the Department of European and Mediterranean Cultures of the University of Basilicata and the administration of the municipality of Genzano di Lucania (PZ), which is interested in synergistically developing strategies for the enhancement of areas of its territory.

Students were asked to develop projects for the architectural redevelopment of some strategic areas of the city through the grafting of new building volumes into the historic fabric. Particular attention was paid to the environmental, technological, constructional and anti-seismic aspects of the structures, always in relation to the themes of reuse of the built heritage and environmental sustainability.
