Design for Living

The past couple of decades introduced the world to new ways of living as a result of different social, economic, and ecological changes. These changes found their way into the interiors, provoking new concepts within traditional typologies. Designing a space, regardless of its function, has always prioritized users' needs and ensured practicality and functionality, but recently, keywords like flexibility, privacy, inclusivity, and eco-consciousness have become driving forces behind design processes. In the home, the place par excellence of living, smart working has recently appeared, reshaping interior design and introducing modifications to traditional organization and distribution.

From the concept to the moodboard, from technical drawings to three-dimensional views, the students tackle the design of a ground-floor flat with green spaces in urban contest with different levels of privacy.
