The ‘castello Orsini’ in Rivalta and its urban context. Problems of knowledge, conservation, enhancement.

The multidisciplinary Atelier on ‘Heritage Restoration and Enhancement’ (of the pre-reform study plan) concludes the architect's training process on issues of Cultural Heritage, and correlates, in an interactive and synchronic dialogue, the disciplines of urban restoration and economic enhancement. The project represents a systemic process based on a multidisciplinary dimension that deals with the complexity of landscape and urban scales. The Atelier faces the issues of knowledge, conservation, feasibility, enhancement, promotion and management of scattered or territorial assets that can be thought of as ‘cultural systems’ that realize the landscape fundamental matrices.
