The Great Game: Kiruna
Mining company LKAB; a business owners association; a private investor; the technical office of the city of Kiruna; an association of Sami people; a large tech company; an environmental association. These are some of the actors who appear in the Kiruna Great Game, a strategy game within which each group of students works for a different client, each client has a different story, a different scale of values and a very specific perspective, which can change during the game based on the course of events. Within the Architectural Design Theory A course, the game proceeds in parallel with a series of reading seminars, which expose students to some of the most relevant issues of contemporary disciplinary debates.
