Architecture design

Living and housing, core topic of the Design Studio, is faced through different points of view and exercises of increasing complexity all related each other and linked to the structure of five themes and three exercises. The exploration on design starts with the study, comparison and definition of elementary spaces through sketches and models from a specific case study (Exercise 1, individual). The students will consequently face with the space described by the book “The good life: a guided visit to the houses of modernity” by Abalos Iñaki presenting a first draft of the internal distribution (Exercise 2, group of 2/3). The final work is the composition of a cohousing unit developing the project in the context of Turin(Exercise 3, group of 2/3).
